What an AMAZING week!
We went to Calpe to run, swim and do lots of cycling under the Spanish sun🌞
We lay the foundation for the upcoming season and got back with some fresh motivation. Now back to wearing long sleeves again.

Januari recap 💙🧡🤍
Even though it was a dark and rainy month, the FM members have not been idle.
1: On the 20th Ferro Mosae hosted its very first COBO. It was a lot of fun (as far as we can remember) and we danced the night away. 💃🪩 We want to thank the boards for joining and gifting the great (🤢) drinks. Next time we do need to make sure our president is not sneaking out from the drinks though…
2: We started the month off right, by volunteering for the Polar Bear Trail by Bearsports on January 15. Even though it was a cold day, we had a lot of fun and gave the runners some good motivation! 🏃💨
3: Those members that recovered fast enough from the COBO, swam the 100x100 by Tricenter. 🏊♂️ With the good care and fuel provided by Tricenter, all swimmers were able to complete the 10k swim in no time!
Now, let’s make it an even better February, with maybe some cycling involved? 😏🇪🇸☀️

Last Monday we went bouldering, with those triathletes that thought 3 sports wasn’t enough yet. 🧗♀️
Members showed their skills on the wall, but eventually ended the evening in the gym-part of the boulder hall.. 😅💪🏻

Favorite day of the week: Saturday = long bike ride day🚲
What I like about FM: I like how everyone is supportive to each other and how there is always someone in for a crazy idea to go cycling somewhere nice
Triathlon speciality: I was a competitive swimmer and I loooved individual medley🐳
Most embarrassing moment in triathlon: There is always time to eat a nice banana during the race🍌
Best memory in triathlon: So far my very first triathlon where we competed in the team supersprint in Almere. I am sure there are many more new memories to come this year🧡💙
Bonus: what food could you eat in a challenge? Brie cheese (but not in 2 minutes 😉)

Most embarrassing moment in triathlon: Kept running with an injury. Be smart. Don’t make the same mistake I did. 😜
Best memory in triathlon: Including, but not limited to, trainingsweek in Spain, supporting the team 📸, cheering at IM Maastricht, and finally racing with the girls. 🏁
